Links Course 9 Holes

Welcoming Members and Visitors

Rush Golf Club, founded in 1943 is a links course with panoramic views of Lambay Island and Dublin Bay. Located in the picturesque seaside town of Rush in North County Dublin we are conveniently located closed to Dublin Airport and lie in the middle of the best links territory in the entire golfing world, let alone Ireland. Our unique location at the mouth of the Rogerstown Estuary and our topography, provide our enviable boast of golf 365 days of the year.

Although classified as a 9-hole links course, we offer the full 18-hole experience with 2 tee boxes on each hole providing different distances and angles which hold the attention of every golfer as they consider their club choice and direction. The design intricately adds to its difficulty, ensuring both challenge and interest for players. As a club we are very proud that Rush Golf Course was voted as the best 9-hole course in Leinster in 2023 and 2025.

Ivan Morris, in his book ‘Ireland’s Best 9-Hole Golf Courses’ described Rush Golf Club as one of the Top Three 9-Hole Links in Ireland. He also rated the 5th hole as ‘well worth the time and effort of criss-crossing the Country to play, describing it as ‘having a feel of Royal Lytham & St. Anne’s about it’.

Rush is one of the few clubs that has been fortunate enough to keep its old-world charm. We have a fabulous clubhouse which complements the natural contours of the course. The bar and restaurant provides a friendly and comfortable setting where all can enjoy a relaxing drink with food, while taking in the views as golfers navigate the par 4 challenge of the 9th/18th hole.

We look forward to welcoming you to Rush Golf Club.
