This Halloween, when the veil between the living and the dead grows thin, the Taylor family return to Ardgillan Castle, Fingal, the home they once knew. Confused to find strangers wandering their halls, these ghostly former residents set out to discover what has become of their beloved estate.

Led by the Taylor ghosts, visitors journey through the castle’s atmospheric rooms, where family squabbles, local history, and chilling tales intertwine. Along the way, they will encounter the haunting legend of the Lady of the Stairs in a unique Halloween experience filled with humour, folklore, and genuine scares.

Two winners will be chosen to receive a family ticket to The Ardgillan Residents Return: Craic from the Crypt tour. The family ticket admits two adults and two children and the show runs from 22 October to 1 November 2026 with scheduled shows at 5:00pm, 5:50pm, 6:40pm, 7:30pm and 8:20pm.

Terms and Conditions: 

1. The competition will close at 23:59 Irish local time on 18/10/2026. Entries received after this time will not be eligible.
2. The winners will receive one x family ticket to The Ardgillan Residents Return: Craic from the Crypt each,  admitting two adults and two children. The show runs from 22 October to 1 November 2026 with scheduled shows at 5:00pm, 5:50pm, 6:40pm, 7:30pm and 8:20pm. The winner’s email address will be shared with Ardgillan castle who will organise the tickets and date and time of the tour. If the winner’s preferred date or time is unavailable, they must select an alternative available slot.
3. Two winners will be chosen at random from all eligible entries with the correct answer. The draw will take place on 19 October 2026.
4. The winner will be contacted by hello@explorefingal.ie by 21 October 2026. The winner must respond by email within 4 days to claim the prize. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within that period, the promoter may select an alternative winner at random from the remaining eligible entries.
5. The competition is run by Explore Fingal c/o Fingal County Council, County Hall, Main Street, Swords, Co. Dublin, K67 X8Y2.
6. Entrants must be aged 18 or over and resident on the island of Ireland. Employees of Fingal County Council and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
7. To enter, fill in the form hosted on explorefingal.ie/competitions/ and correctly answer the question. No purchase is necessary.
8. One entry per person.
9. No cash alternative is available.
10. The winner’s name and county of residence will be made available on request by emailing hello@explorefingal.ie, subject to applicable data protection requirements.
11. Personal data submitted through this competition form will be used to administer the competition, assess eligible entries, select and contact the winner, and arrange delivery of the prize. All entrants’ data will be deleted within 30 days of the competition closing date. Entrants’ email addresses will not be used for marketing purposes. Where relevant, the winner’s email address will be shared with the operator so that they can send out the prize. The winner’s name and county of residence may be made available on request in accordance with the competition terms and applicable data protection requirements.
