Down on the Farm
Have fun on the farm.
Step into the heart of rural life at Newbridge House farm, a traditional working farm that offers a delightful, hands-on experience for visitors of all ages.
Home to a variety of friendly animals—including pigs, goats, cows, and chickens—the farm invites guests to learn about heritage breeds, sustainable farming practices, and daily life on an Irish farm. Whether you’re feeding the animals, exploring the barns, or enjoying a peaceful stroll through the paddocks, the farm is a fun and educational escape that connects you with nature and Ireland’s agricultural roots. The animals enjoy spacious enclosures where they can roam freely and exhibit natural behaviours.
The estate also includes woodland walks and rolling meadows as well as an adventure playground and picnic areas.
McNally Family Farm is a different kind of animal altogether, a 99 acre organic, family-run farm that lies in Fingal’s horticulture heartland. In the summer months inspirational grower Jenny McNally brings visitors on a fascinating tour; an insight into real farm life. Visitors explore the polytunnels and fields on this working, seasonal organic farm, all the while learning about sustainable growing practices and regenerative agriculture.
The McNallys love to transform their seasonal vegetable harvests into an ever-evolving menu of delicious food in their wonderful farm café, and the tour includes a café voucher. Every month brings something new as they follow the patterns of seasonal growing, letting freshness guide culinary creativity. The delightful farm shop is stocked to the rafters with their own fresh produce, home-baked breads and treats, and selected complementary goods.
