Learn how to safely forage for wild seasonal plants seeds and berries, with plenty of inspiration on how to use them for food and wellness.

Are you interested in learning more about foraging but don’t know where to start? Or maybe you can identify some wild plants, but you don’t know where to begin when it comes to safely harvesting and preparing wild food? Then this fun and informative workshop is for you.

In this workshop you will learn how to identify some of our most common native Irish wild plants. There will be a strong emphasis on safety, and you will leave with enough knowledge to allow you to forage with confidence going forward. You will learn about the Forager’s Code, which encourages safe, respectful and responsible foraging. There will be plenty of tips on using native plants to create tasty and nutritious wild food dishes, drinks and simple herbal remedies.

Everyone is welcome, from the complete beginner to the more experienced forager.
