The Herb School – Seashore Foraging Walk
Join Denise Dunne from The Herb School on this informal and immersive seashore foraging walk. After an introduction on how to forage safely and sustainably, we will explore the rock pools, cliff walk, sand dunes and shoreline.
You will learn how to safely identify the native Irish coastal plants, herbs, seaweeds and shellfish that we find on the day, with plenty of tips on using them to create tasty and nutritious wild food dishes, drinks and simple herbal remedies.
Our Irish coastlines are full of surprises. Tantalise your tastebuds, take in the sea air, and learn the valuable life skill of foraging!
A monthly event, held on the first Saturday of the month, from March through to October, depending on demand.
Walks can be arranged for tour groups and corporate events. Contact The Herb School to discuss your requirements.
