This informal gathering welcomes singers of all levels to share songs in a warm, supportive environment, with both on site and online participants encouraged to take part.
We’re delighted to feature Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh as this month’s special guest.
A native of Dún Chaoin and a native Irish speaker, Muireann grew up immersed in the sean nós tradition before spending thirteen years as lead singer and flute player with the renowned group Danú.
Her acclaimed solo and collaborative work continues to carry Irish language song into the present day with beauty, clarity, and contemporary relevance.
Listeners are warmly invited to enjoy refreshments from The Cottage Café while soaking in the music in our atmospheric, candlelit theatre, or join us from home as we stream the session live.
As always, performers and listeners are equally welcome.
