The Hunt Dinner Party – Malahide Castle
Ditch the standard restaurant routine and step into a living history mystery. The Hunt Dinner Party at Malahide Castle takes you back to the 1700s as a guest of the elite Hunt Party, where you return to the estate for an evening of luxury, high spirits, and theatrical intrigue.
Your journey begins at the castle door, where majestic Irish Wolfhounds greet you as living symbols of Gaelic heritage. Meanwhile, live Irish harp music sets the atmosphere. You then toast the evening with a crisp whiskey soda before moving deeper into the castle, where the night’s immersive experience unfolds.
This is an immersive dinner theatre experience; you help create the story. On arrival, you receive an 18th-century persona and a secret objective. As a result, you’ll mingle, trade secrets, and uncover mysteries with fellow guests. In addition, a dress-up trunk with cravats, moustaches, walking sticks, and boas adds playful character to the experience. The event takes place in candlelit, stone-walled Nugents Hall, which creates an intimate and atmospheric setting. You will also enjoy a lavish four-course dinner with premium house wines inspired by the castle’s history. Overall, it suits date nights, group outings, or anyone meeting new people through shared storytelling.
Event Details: The experience runs on selected Saturday evenings from May to September, 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM.
Tickets are €120 per person and include dinner, wine, and immersive entertainment. However, spaces at the 18th-century table are strictly limited.
