Explore Fingal Markets at Swords Castle This Summer

Explore Fingal Markets begin in May and continue throughout the summer, offering a series of free-entry Saturday markets that celebrate the best of local food, produce, and craft. Each market features a wide and carefully curated range of stallholders, with a strong emphasis on fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced goods, proudly supported by both the Fingal Food Circle and Fingal Farmers.

The Swords markets take place in the historic surroundings of Swords Castle, running from May through September on the third Saturday of each month, between 10am and 3pm.

  • Dates for this series include 20th June, 18th July, 15th August and 19th September.
  • Each market will host a food/drink themed talk in the Chapel. Check back for details.

Visitors can expect a lively and welcoming atmosphere, with everything from artisan food producers and farm-fresh vegetables to baked goods and speciality products, making it a vibrant community event that highlights the richness of Fingal’s local food culture throughout the summer season.
