Blanchardstown Festival of Brass Brings Live Music, Massed Bands and Family Fun to a Community Celebration

Blanchardstown Festival of Brass is a free, family-friendly celebration of music, bringing together some of the top brass and concert bands from across Ireland. The event will showcase a wide range of performances throughout the day, building to a spectacular massed band finale featuring approximately 400 musicians performing together.

Held in the grounds of Scoil Bhríde in Blanchardstown, the festival offers an accessible and welcoming setting for visitors of all ages, with easy access to public transport. It provides a unique opportunity for audiences to experience the power and energy of live brass music in a relaxed, open-air environment.

The festival celebrates the long-standing legacy of the Blanchardstown Brass Band and marks its 200-year anniversary, recognising its continued contribution to music and community life. It also highlights the talent and dedication of brass musicians from across the country, making it a unique gathering for both performers and audiences.

In addition to the musical programme, the event will include a variety of family-friendly activities designed to create a lively village atmosphere. With the support of the Blanchardstown Tidy Towns group and St Brigid’s Parish, the festival aims to attract not only music enthusiasts but also families looking for an enjoyable day out in their local community.
