Newbridge House and Farm – Wild Child Day – Curious Cabinets!
Join us at Newbridge House and Farm in one of these hands-on 2hr workshops to create your very own Curious Cabinet!
The hands-on workshop engages with the historic Newbridge House and its world-famous Cabinet of Curiosities. Children will have the opportunity to learn about the creation of these private museums and the importance of the one of the last Cabinets of Curiosities surviving at Newbridge House.
Focusing on ecology, human interaction with the natural world and the history of collecting, children will be tasked with crafting their own mini curious cabinet to take home!
Suitable for children aged 8-12. Appropriate clothing is required as the workshop will include walking outdoors and working with craft materials.
Booking is required. Maximum 15 children per workshop. Saturday 22nd August 2026, 11am – 1pm, 2.30pm – 4.30pm. Please email to reserve a place, on a first-come first-served basis. Bookings and additional information can be sought from: reservations@newbridgehouseandfarm.com
